Grand Theft Auto:

In Grand Theft Auto, the player takes the role of a small-time criminal trying to make it big with the mob. Stealing cars, doing jobs for the gangsters and behaving generally anti-social are the way to success.

The action moves through six levels spread over three different cities, each based on a real US city: Liberty City (based on New York City), San Andreas (based on San Francisco) and Vice City (based on Miami). To finish a level, a certain score must be reached. Stealing cars and crashing into traffic, driving over pedestrians and killing cops all raise the score, but the big points are made through jobs. Answering phones or entering special cars brings mission assignments, from simple "ditch-a-hot-car" jobs to supporting bank robberies or carrying out assassinations. Completing a mission will raise the score substantially and also increase the score multiplier, so that completing the next felony will gain even more points.
Criminal behavior comes with a price of course: if policemen witness a crime, the player's wanted level rises. At the lowest level, a single police car might give chase, whereas at the highest level whole car squads hunt the player, the police set up roadblocks and shoot to kill. The only way to evade the cops is to find a respray shop and get a new paint job with new license plates. This costs money which is deducted from the score, however. But even dying or being arrested are not the end. The player has several lives, and ending up in jail simply results in being stripped of all weapons and armor and the score multiplier being lowered.

The entire action is viewed from a top-down perspective, which zooms out while driving a car, for a better overview at high speeds. The cities are many screens large and can be freely explored. Crates are scattered over the cities, which might include weapons (from pistols to rocket launchers), armor or other bonus items: extra lives, police bribes (used to reduce the wanted level to zero) and get-out-of-jail-free cards (used to retain score multiplier and weapons when busted). Dozens of different vehicles are available for the taking, each with unique characteristics: a bus will handle very differently than a sports car.

Grand Theft Auto London 1969:

This is the official add-on cd to Grand Theft Auto. It's not settled in the USA anymore, but, as the title already says, in London. There has not much been added: new cars, some new graphics and new missions, but that's about all.


Grand Theft Auto 2:

Lie, cheat, and steal your way through 3 huge cities in the follow-up to Grand Theft Auto. Earn the respect of 7 different gangs as you demolish the town in your attempt to make lots of cash.

Media:

The discs are a 1:1 images/clones made with Alcohol 1.9.8.7612 in MDF/MDS format, subchannel data included. The images have been reduced with ecm and compressed with rar on highest compression ratio and solid archive. The images have been verified with the original images after ecm expansion. The images were also verified in both states with CDMage. All files were also verified with the original files on the cd's with dcomp32.

Check the site FAQ for ecm, as I will no longer be including it with my uploads. Just drag and drop the ecm compressed image onto unecm.exe to expand.

Size: 1.17 GB uncompressed

Additional Notes: Some of you will open the images in CDMage, and notice that they were mastered with Nero. I can assure you that these are clones of the original discs, and not self made (can't remaster securom anyways). I thought this was strange myself. I scanned everything myself, except the box because reflective surfaces make images very very dark on my old HP scanner.

Also included are the manuals and maps in pdf which I made, and faqs/walkthroughs/guides from the net.

(from an image, do not cut) Assembly appropriated an original visual style (lots of those, sounds and cursors), integrated all the updates, as well as all the registry tweaks, to ensure maximum system performance. -VIDEO: with support for DirectX 9 and 128 MB of memory (for the theme Aero)
-RAM: 512 MB or more

There is nothing removed from windows 7 to avoid any conflicts and based on users requests not to remove components, all updates to october 3rd are integrated listed below with a few extra user choice updates available off wpi. I have disabled many windows services by default these can be enabled in windows services if you require any for your setup. There has been many tweaks added they are listed below, included quite a number of tweaker programs available on wpi so that you can tweak windows 7 just how you would like it.

I have included a number of themes and cursors. To run wpi wait till windows finishes install then eject the dvd and reinsert it autoplay menu will open click wpi button to show the wpi apps menu. There is some extra display effects in a folder on your desktop called extras listed below. Any extra theme replacement dll's are also placed in a folder on the desktop called themes if you would like to replace your dll files with them.
